Matt Smith and the Chattanooga Mocs are in Florida for the Seminole Intercollegiate joined by eight programs ranked in the Golfstat Top 100.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team is back in action this weekend at the Seminole Intercollegiate. They face a stacked field with seven top 50 schools and eight top 100 in total in the 14-team field.
This is the first entry in the event for the Mocs since the 1995 Seminole Classic. It was a 36-hole affair at the time with the good guys finishing 13th of 18. This group is looking to improve on last week's result in Mobile.
On the positive side, the 5-some there shot the third-lowest total (878) of the season. There are two lineup changes with Oliver Simonsen returning from a lower-body injury and Matt Smith slotting in. By scoring average, four of the top six scoring averages on the team are in Tallahassee with qualifying fierce in the midpoint of the season.
It's a two-day, 54-hole journey with tee times and scores, when available, accessible at the scoring link above.

- Career-best total the last time out in Mobile for Lintunen (215). Moritz Lammel also set a new 36-hole low (143).
- Set new season highs for pars in a round (55) and total (141) in Mobile. The 55 came over the second 18.
- The Mocs carded 34 individual par or better 18s so far. Twenty-four of those are in the lineup this weekend: Lintunen (7), Porter (6), Smith (4), Simonsen (4) and Lammel (3).
