MOCS vs. SPARTANS
The Spartans earned a 49-41 victory over the Mocs in the first meeting this season. UTC leads the series 45-10 dating back to 1998. The Mocs are 19-3 against UNCG in Chattanooga and 37-6 in the SoCon regular season.
 
CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs are fresh off a triple overtime victory at East Tennessee State to close out the first half of the Southern Conference season. UTC is 4-3 and will play five of its next seven games at home.
 
The Mocs are averaging 54 points per game and shooting 34.9 percent from the field. At the free throw line, UTC is third in the league shooting 73 percent and fifth for rebounding with 34.9 boards per game.
 
Eboni Williams was named the SoCon and College Sports Madness Player of the Week for her play against the Bucs. She is leads the team with 8.9 rebounds per game and is third in the league. Lakelyn Bouldin is the Mocs' top scorer with 11.8 points per game followed by Williams with 9.6 ppg. Bria Dial has topped double figures in eight of her last 10 games and is third on the team in scoring with 9.2 points per game.
 
UNCG
The Spartans are tied with Wofford for second in the SoCon standings at 5-2 in league play and are 16-6 overall. They lead the SoCon in eight statistical categories including scoring defense (54.2), field goal percentage (44.1%) and rebounding margin (+3.6) and average 65.5 points per game.
 
Nadine Soliman is second in the league in scoring with a team high 16.0 points per game and has 40 3-pointers for UNCG. Alexus Wiley leads the team from beyond the arc with 42 treys and is shooting 42.9 percent, second best in the SoCon. Aja Boyd has a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game with Te'ja Twitty right behind with 7.7 per game.
