The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team is home this weekend, hosting Western Carolina on Saturday, March 7. First serve is set for 10:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) at the UTC Tennis Center.

Chad Camper. :We have had a good week of practice and look forward to getting things lined up to compete at a high level on Saturday."

Caroline Gibbens cracked the Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Rankings for the first time. The Mocs top doubles tandem is No. 76 in the listing released on March 3.
They are 6-6 in the spring, playing mostly at the No. 1 spot. They scored a huge win over Tennessee's No. 8 ranked duo of Kaitlin Staines and Tenika McGiffin on Feb. 21.
As a team, Chattanooga is 7-5 overall and 0-1 in SoCon action after last week's 5-2 loss to No. 37 Furman. Van Hee leads the way with a 9-1 singles mark, while freshman
Callie Billman is 8-2 in the spring. Both play in the bottom half of the Mocs lineup.
Western Carolina carries an 0-7 record into the weekend, including an 0-1 mark in SoCon duals. The Catamounts lost to UNCG 5-2 on Saturday.
The Mocs are 30-1 all-time against Western Carolina. Last year's 4-3 loss was the only setback in the series that dates back to 1988.
