CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs will take on Kennesaw State Tuesday evening at the KSU Convocation Center in women's basketball action. It will be the first meeting between the two teams in a decade.

CHATTANOOGA vs. KENNESAW STATE
The Mocs and Owls met three times from 2009-11. UTC leads the series 2-1 with both wins coming at home. Kennesaw State  beat the Mocs in overtime on their own home court. The last time the two teams met, UTC beat the Owls 76-39 at the Roundhouse in 2011.

FRESHMEN STEP IN WIN OVER TENNESSEE STATE
Freshmen Addie Grace Porter and
Destiny McClendon each scored in duoble digits and set career-bests in the Mocs win over Tennessee State. Porter scored eight of her 10 points in the Mocs' 11-0 run in the second quarter that put UTC up for good in the game. She had a pair of 3-pointers on the night as did McClendon who scored 12 points in the win.

PORTER BACK-TO-BACK STARTS = STRONG GAMES
Freshman Addie Grace Porter has taken advantage of back-to-back starts. She recorded double-digits scoring in both games, averaging 13 points per game. She averaged 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game. The rookie had five swipes against Murray State in the Mocs last outing along with six rebounds, both season-highs. She also dished out three assists in each game.

CORNELIUS RECORDS FIRST DOUBLE-DOUBLE OF THE SEASON
Center
Abbey Cornelius had a monster day on the boards with a season-best 16 against Tennessee State and added 13 points for her first double-double this season. She has nine for her career.

Dena Jarrells and Addie Grace Porter are all ranked in the NCAA statistical categories. Porter, a freshman, is ranked in three categories including steals, steals per game and free throw percentage. Jarrells is ranked in assists per game while Cornelius is ranked in eight different categories. She is ranked in rebounds, rebounds per game, defensive rebounds per game, free throws made, attempted and percentage as well as points per game.

MOCS LET IT RAIN
The Mocs were 10-of-26 from the 3-point line in their exhibition win over Georgia College Friday night.

DOUBLE DIPS ON THE SCHEDULE
The Mocs men's and women's basketball teams will combine for three double headers this season. The first is a non-conference meeting between UTC and Georgia State. The men will host former SoCon rival College of Charleston. On February 5, the women matchup against Samford will follow the men's game against Mercer. Senior Day will see the women take on Wofford followed by the men's game against Samford.

LONG-RANGE BOMBERS
The Mocs have made at least one 3-pointer in 680 consecutive games dating back to December 1999. That's nearly 22 years! Chattanooga reached the 600-consecutive game mark against UT Martin on November 28, 2018 at the Roundhouse. According to current unofficial research, this is the second-longest streak in the nation behind Iowa State who has more than 800 dating back to 1995.
