- The Chattanooga Mocs cruised to a 104-55 win against Tennessee Wesleyan Sunday afternoon in the Roundhouse…Mocs are now 9-1, while the Bulldogs remain 10-2 as this was an exhibition game for the NAIA program.
- 5th straight game with a 20pt scorer...Malachi Smith (3x) & Silvio DeSousa (2x)...last time with five straight games of at least one 20pt scorer? Feb. 8-22, 2020: Matt Ryan (3x), Ramon Vila (2x), David Jean-Baptiste & Maurice Commander each registered 20 points during that streak.
- Second 100-point effort of the season...104 is the highest total since 107 against Tennessee Wesleyan on Dec. 14, 2016.
- 12 of the 13 Mocs who played scored in double digits...lone holdout was KC Hankton who only took three shots but did tie his career for blocks with two.
- Season-high 11 steals…second time with 10 or more recording 10 at Tennessee Tech.
- 9-1 start ties for the best in school history…also opened 9-1 in 1973-74 (17-1), 1974-75 (10-1), 1983-84 (12-1) and 2020-21 (9-1).
- 22 assists...third time this season with 20+.
- Eight turnovers mark the sixth game with fewer than 10 on the year.
- 58.0 percent shooting (40-69) is a season high...fourth time with 50 percent or better on the year including last two and three of the last four...shooting 50.8 percent (132-260) during 4-game win streak.
- Tied season best for 3pt made with 12…also had 12 in wins over Covenant and at Lipscomb.
- 18-1 against non-conference opposition over the last two campaigns.
- 110-1 in the DI era (beginning 1977-78) against non-DI competition…lone loss was 73-69 to Southern Poly on Dec. 16, 1999.

- 21 wins in last 22 non-conference games.
- 15-5 in last 20 home contests.
- 60-39 all-time on Game 10 of the campaign…last year's game 10 was narrow 77-73 loss to Furman to open SoCon play.
- 7-4 all-time on Dec. 12…last game on this date before tonight? 81-63 win over North Georgia a year ago.

- Malachi Smith's run of 20+ games comes to an end at three…score 27+ in each of the Mocs road games leading into today…scored 15 points in 22 minutes adding seven rebounds and six assists…last Moc with three or more 20-point efforts in a row? 3, Stephan McDowell (11/29/08-12/17/08)...longest streak is six by Derrick Kirce (1/5/91-1/21/91) and Chad Copeland (2/23/94-3/6/94) followed by five from Ashley Champion over two seasons (3/7/03-11/26/03)…his last was a 22-point, 10-rebound and 6-assist day against Tennessee Wesleyan…most 20-point games in a season is 22 by Gerald Wilkins in 1984-85.
- Smith's 83 points over those three games were the most in a 3-game stretch since 83 by Stephen McDowell from Nov. 29-Dec. 17, 2008: 25 vs Tennessee Temple, 31 at Davidson and 28 at ETSU.
