The Chattanooga women's basketball team will close out the home slate Sunday afternoon with its final game against UNCG at The McKenzie Arena. The Mocs defeated the Spartans Friday night to move into third place in the Southern Conference standings with two games remaining.

SERIES HISTORYÂ
The Mocs lead the series with UNCG 46-10. The Spartans won the first four meetings before UTC went on to win 40 of the next 42 meetings. The two teams split the series last year with each winning at home. UTC is 21-3 at home with Friday's win.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET
The Mocs beat UNCG 57-41 two days ago to improve its record against the Spartans to 47-10.
Bria Dial led all scorers with 16 points, four 3-pointers and three blocked shots.
Abbey Cornelius recorded her fourth double-double this year with 11 points and 11 rebounds. In the final quarter the Mocs shot 57 percent and held UNCG to 28.6 percent shooting and no 3-pointers.
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs earned a sweep of Western Carolina and beat UNCG in the opener between the two for a mini-win streak heading into Senior Day. The Mocs took over sole possession of third place with Wofford's loss to Mercer Friday night. Samford beat ETSU to remain atop the league standings with the Bears second. UTC is third in the league standings for scoring with 65.2 per game and second for field goal percentage making 42.7 percent of its shots. UTC is also second for 3-point field goal percentage at .313 and 3-point field goals made with 6.2 per game.
Eboni Williams leads UTC in scoring (13.2) and is tied with
Abbey Cornelius for rebounding (8.1). Cornelius avearages 10.0 points per game and
Bria Dial is second on the team with 12.2 points per game.
CHATTANOOGA MOCS SENIORS
MONET WOOD
Monet has spent four years as the Mocs' team manager, keeping the team ready for home games, road trips and early morning practices.

She will graduate this year with a degree in Exercise Science and has been named to UTC's Dean's List. She was nominated for the Honor Society Foundation and will pursue a Masters in Sports Management in the fall.

LIZ WOOD
Liz earned her spot with the Mocs in a try-out her sophomore year and is now an integral part of the team. She has seen action in 23 games and scored a career-high against Troy and NC State. Last spring, Liz was selected by the Southern Conference to represent the league on the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

She is a recipient of the Southern Conference Commissioner's Medal for Academics, named to the league's Honor Roll as well as UTC's Dean's List and Athletics Director's Honor Roll.

BRIA DIAL
Bria made her 79
th start tonight for Chattanooga and is closing in on 800 career points. Earlier this season, she rained down seven 3-pointers, second-most in school history, against former SoCon foe Georgia Southern and ranks seventh all-time at Chattanooga for blocked shots. She was an all-conference selection as a junior and named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team in her rookie campaign and a preseason all-conference honoree this year.
