CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team gets set to host its final home matches of the 2020-21 season this Sunday and Monday against league-leading Samford inside Maclellan Gymnasium. Both matches are set for 4:00 p.m. ET starts on ESPN+.

Chattanooga (5-9, 3-9 SoCon) returns to action after a week off and looks to snap a four-match skid. Samford (11-1, 11-1 SoCon) enters the weekend riding a 10-match winning streak while sitting atop the league standings. Â
As a reminder, due to ongoing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no fans allowed for this event. Only guests marked on the student-athlete pass lists are able to attend this event.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
Chattanooga (5-9, 3-9 SoCon) looks to snap a four-match losing skid after falling in a pair of matches two weekends ago in Charleston, S.C., at The Citadel. The Mocs last victory came on February 22 against Furman in straight-set fashion. Chattanooga has lost the last four meetings against Samford, however, has won two of the last three at home.

ABOUT SAMFORD
Samford (11-1, 11-1 SoCon) enters the weekend winners of their last 10 matches after falling on the opening weekend to Mercer in the second leg of two-match set. The Bulldogs have dropped just a combined eight sets over the course of the 10-match win streak. Samford captured the 2019 Southern Conference title behind a 24-6 overall and 15-1 league record.

OFFENSIVE ATTACK STRUGGLING FOR EFFICENCY
Chattanooga leads the Southern Conference and ranks 10th across all NCAA Division I teams with a 39.93 attacks per set average. Converting to efficency, the Mocs are attacking at a lowly .154% which would mark the lowest team attack percentage in a single season since 2013 (.152%). The clip currently ranks eighth in the league.
