Soccer Countdown - 33 Days with Sydney Weinstein

Sydney sat out last season and will be a freshman this year. She was a successful player in high school as an all-state selection and three-time district MVP. She was the Varsity Player of the Year for Page High School and helped her team to region and district titles.
 
She played lacrosse and was a member of the bowling and track and field teams. She was a finalist for the Student Art Competition for Williamson County and a member of the National Art Honors Society.
 
She is the daughter of Jason and Maggie Weinstein and has two siblings, Ethan and Ayden. She is a criminal justice major and was named to UTC's Dean's List and Athletics Director's Honor Roll last year.

She started playing soccer at the age of three and also likes lacrosse.
 
Her favorite thing about soccer is that she gets to jump around and slide on the ground.
 
Over the summer she played soccer and went to the beach with her family.

2021 SEASON
The Mocs kick off the 2021 season on August 19 at home against UAB following a pair of preseason exhibitions. This will be UTC's third season at the UTC Sports Complex located next to Engel Stadium. The Mocs finished third last season for its best finish in program history and was one of four teams to advance to the Southern Conference Championships. Follow all the action online at GoMocs.com.
