CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Chattanooga's
Brenna Swiger earned Southern Conference All-Conference Second Team honors, the league office announced late Thursday night. She was left off the initial list due to a computer error.
Â
Swiger had a standout season anchoring the midfield and back line for the Mocs. A graduate transfer from Cumberland University, Swiger started every match for Chattanooga in 2025, logging over 1,600 minutes and helping the Mocs to 10 wins and a fourth-place finish in the SoCon standings. She played a pivotal role in a defense that recorded seven shutouts and allowed just 20 goals all season.
Â
She joins teammates
Caroline Richvalsky (first team),
Clarissa Salinas (second team),
Reese Wilson (all-freshman) and Freshman of the Year
Quinn Johnson (second team, all-freshman).
Â
Chattanooga travels to Birmingham, Ala., to take on #5 seed Furman Friday night at Samford's Shauna Yelton Field in the quarterfinal round of the Southern Conference Championship. The match is slated to kick off at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. Live stats and video streaming are available online at GoMocs.com on the women's soccer schedule page.
