GREENVILLE, S.C. --- The Chattanooga women's basketball team will remain in South Carolina for a Saturday matchup at Furman. The game will tip at 2:00 p.m. at Timmons Arena.
The Mocs four-game win streak came to a halt Thursday night at Wofford. UTC is 6-15 overall and 4-2 in SoCon play and third in the league standings. Furman improved to 10-9 on the year and 3-2 in SoCon play with a win over ETSU Thursday.

MOCS vs. PALADINS
The Mocs and Paladins have met 84 times since 1985 with UTC leading the series 56-28. In the SoCon regular season, the Mocs are 49-25. Last season the two teams split the series in Greenville with UTC winning the first game and the Paladins taking the second. Furman won the meeting between the two teams in the Southern Conference Tournament.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET
The two teams split the series last season with both games played in Greenville. The Mocs won the first (68-56) and Furman took the second (46-52). Furman beat the Mocs in the opening round of the SoCon Tournament by a 58-40 margin.

Abbey Cornelius moved to third on the Mocs all-time list for blocked shots with a career-high tying five against North Alabama. She has 124, passing Arianne Whitaker (109) for third.

Dena Jarrells recorded a career-high five 3-pointers against Cincinnati and matched it against UNCG.
• Freshman Addie Grace Porter snared five steals against Murray State and dished out five assists at Mercer. She has made eight starts as a rookie and has played in all 20 averaging 24 min/game.
• The Mocs beat Western Carolina 55-48 to become the 39th team in NCAA Division I history to reach the 900-win plateau. The Mocs have recorded 37 winning seasons and are currently in their 48th since rebooting the program in the 1974 under Grace Keith.
• Milestone on the horizon. Chattanooga has made at least one 3-pointer in 697 consecutive games dating back to December 1999. That is unofficially the second longest streak in the nation behind Iowa State whose streak is more than 800 games.
