CHATTANOOGA – The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team looks to continue its winning ways as the squad returns home for the first time in nearly three weeks to host Southern Conference foe The Citadel on Friday evening and non-conference opponent Alabama A&M on Sunday afternoon.
First serve for Friday's contest is set for 7 p.m. ET while Sunday's matinee will start at 3 p.m. ET. Due to other home events, both matches will feature live stats ONLY. Admission is FREE. Match promotions are listed below.
Chattanooga (9-12, 4-3 SoCon) enters the weekend winners of its last two, both historic wins on the road at UNCG and ETSU. The Mocs broke a 17-year drought in Greensboro with a 3-1 victory last Saturday before picking up its first win in Johnson City over ETSU on Wednesday night in a 3-2 comeback effort.
The Citadel (9-10, 2-4 SoCon) looks to bounce back from a 3-1 loss at home against Samford on Sunday. The Bulldogs opened the SoCon slate with a 3-1 road win at Furman before falling in four of the next five. Alabama A&M (4-18, 3-4 SWAC) has won three of the last six and have forced five set matches in each of the last two.

Chattanooga leads the all-time series over The Citadel 32-6, however, all six of The Citadel's victories have come since 2018 and all have been within the last 10 overall meetings. UTC is a perfect 5-0 all-time against Alabama A&M as the two teams renew a matchup last played 2012.
ETSU RECAP
Chattanooga (9-12, 4-3 SoCon) earned its second-straight SoCon road victory, this time completing a three-set comeback over rival and league-leading ETSU 3-2 on Wednesday night in Johnson City. The Mocs improved to 4-3 in the SoCon and sit two matches back of the Bucs for first place.
HISTORIC ROAD WINS CONTINUE
Chattanooga's 3-1 win at UNCG last Saturday marked the first victory in Greensboro since 2005. In the all-time series, UTC won nine of the first 10 matchups on the road before losing 13-straight since its last win on Nov. 12, 2005.
Chattanooga backed up its historic road win with another one on Wednesday as the victory in Johnson City was the program's first since 2015. The win snapped ETSU's seven-match winning streak and marked the first time beating the Bucs in back-to-back matches since 2015-16.
