MOCS vs. SPARTANS
This will be the 60th meeting between the Mocs and Spartans. UTC leads the series 48-11 and are 40-7 against the Spartans in the SoCon regular season. The Mocs lead UNCG 18-5 on the road. UTC won the meeting earlier this season at the Roundhouse

THE LAST TIME THEY MET
The Mocs beat the Spartans 85-65 at the Roundhouse last month. Chattanooga led wire-to-wire and shot a stunning 63.8 percent from the field. Beyond the arc, UTC was 9-of-15 (60) and made 80 percent of its free throws.
Dena Jarrells was perfect from deep making all five of her 3-point attempts, tying The McKenzie Arena record. She and
Abbey Cornelius were both 7-of-8 from the field. Jarrells scored a career-best 23 points in the win and matched her career-high for assists with eight while adding in four steals. Cornelius added 14 points and four assists.
Amaria Pugh posted her first double-double since coming to Chattanooga with 15 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four assists.
Sigrun Olafsdottir was the fourth Moc in double digits with 13 points and was 3-of-4 from long range. UTC shot 78.6 percent in the opening quarter, making 11-of-14 and led 29-8 after 10 minutes. By halftime, the Mocs lead was 48-22 and the Mocs would go on to win by 20. UTC shot 50 percent or better in each quarter and was 30-of-47 for the game.

The Mocs will close out the road portion of the schedule at Western Carolina Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Center in Cullowhee, N.C.

• Prior to the game, the Mocs will pay tribute to former head coach Grace Keith who lost her battle with breast cancer last summer.

• The Mocs will honor senior Pareunaora (Pare) Pene prior to the game. She will graduate in May and return to her home in New Zealand.
