CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs take to the mat Saturday in Boiling Springs, N.C., for a pair of matches against MAC competition. It starts with Kent State at Noon followed by Buffalo at 2 p.m., at Gardner-Webb.

The Mocs look for wins two and three on the season after a split in the opening weekend at Ohio.

"Progress from the Ohio and Ashland duals," Coach
Kyle Ruschell began when asked what he's looking for from the weekend in North Carolina. "Obviously progress, I want to see our guys moving forward.

"I want to see our guys get into our ties, force and pressure, making those guys make mistakes and getting on the legs and scoring. I want to see a lot of offense and a lot of hard wrestling."

- Potential pairing at 174 sees fearless frosh Sergio Desiante and 2022 NCAA Qualifier Jay Nivison from Buffalo in a strong early-season test. Desiante already has one win against 2-time qualifier Sal Perrine (Ohio).

New this year...the main entrance to Maclellan Gym is on the Vine Street side. All fan seating is in the upper and lower sections there across from the scorer's table.
