STATS | MATCH NOTES

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs are back on the Southern Conference road Saturday with a visit to Campbell. It's the start of the 3-match road swing to complete the regular season leading into the SoCon and NCAA Championships.

The Fighting Camels are currently on top of the SoCon standings just ahead of the Mocs last opponent Appalachian State. The visitors are looking for a strong run to the postseason.

"We need the same fight from last weekend with better execution," Coach Kyle Ruschell noted. "We've learned a lot about ourselves that we need to apply because we're facing the best our league has to offer this season. It's another step for getting ourselves 'March ready'."

It's a battle of two of three teams to win the SoCon regular season title in each of the last 19 years: Chattanooga (12), App State (7) & Campbell (2). It's also a fight for seeding in the upcoming SoCon Championships.

The feature bout is at 133. SoCon Wrestler of the Week Blake Boarman is now No. 26 in the FloWrestling Rankings, 25th in the coaches poll. Campbell's Domenic Zaccone is 28th according to Flo and 24th per the coaches.

There's the potential of one at 125 as well from the coaches rankings. Brayden Palmer is No. 25 there, just a few spots behind potential opponent Anthony Melton at 20. There are also intriguing matchups at 165 and 174.
