CHATTANOOGA vs. GEORGIA STATE
The Panthers hold a 6-0-1 advantage over the Mocs. The last meeting was in 2022 in Atlanta. Clarissa Salinas scored a goal late in the game for the draw.
 
CHATTANOOGA (0-0)
The Mocs return 13 from the 2023 squad and add seven freshmen and six transfers. Clarissa Salinas was named to the Southern Conference preseason team. Caroline Richvalsky, the Mocs leading goal scorer from last season returns for her junior campaign along with keeper Caroline Ekern.
 
Chattanooga battled Western Kentucky to a scoreless draw in the first of two friendlies in the preseason. The second saw a dramatic end with three goals scored in the final 28 seconds. Richvalsky drove home the first of her two goals to put the Mocs up 2-1 with 28 seconds remaining. Murray State managed to tie it up a second time 20 seconds later. With eight ticks on the board, Richvalsky took the pass and fired off a shot into the left side of the net for the winner as time expired.
 
GEORGIA STATE (0-0)
The Panthers tied with Georgia Southern in the Sun Belt preseason poll to finish fourth, just four points behind ULM. Aaliyah Faddoul was selected the preseason favorite for Offensive Player of the Year after an outstanding freshman campaign that saw her voted the Freshman of the Year.
