Â
First Thought: "I've mentioned it recently that our guys are starting to wrestle for each other more than themselves, and you saw the passion of the crowd for our guys. We're close. We just need to get the bonus points when we have the opportunity and not give up bonus points when they have opportunities. Every point's going to matter, every position is going to matter in a lot of those matches. There's three matches in there that I think we could have won that we let slip away." – Coach
Kyle Ruschell

First Takedown
- 1st career ranked win for Dayne Dalrymple. His win came over No. 31 Wayne Denkins who finished fourth at the Southern Scuffle.
- One team point deducted for coach unsportsmanlike conduct during 157.
- Match went to extra time after an illegal hold on Campbell's Chris Earnest. Earnest got a key takedown turning 3-2 deficit into a 5-3 lead. The illegal hold, determined on officials review, closed the gap to 5-4 inside the final minute of regulation. Noah Castillo got an escape and then out-wrestled Earnest at the end for the final takedown in sudden victory.
- Sergio Desiante extended his winning streak to nine.
- Kamdyn Munro's dominant win at 184 nearly earned six points with Kendrick Hodge saved by the second period buzzer while on his back.
- Campbell claimed five bonus points in wins at 125, 197 and 285. The Mocs got one at 184.

First Thoughts
"It really builds my confidence and shows me that not only can I compete with these ranked guys, but I can win these matches. I can beat anyone as long as I stick to my game plan and wrestle my match. I can beat these ranked guys, not just keep it close or within striking distance, but be able to come out on top." – Dalrymple on ranked win
Â
"There are two weights where they're just better than us. Those other eight were those opportunities we needed to take advantage of, and we won five of them. If it was six, we're feeling a lot better with a win. These duels hurt because the guys wrestled hard, but you have to appreciate that." – Ruschell
