CHATTANOOGA (January 22, 2025) --- Riding a three-game winning streak, the Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team looks to keep its momentum towards the top of the Southern Conference standings with a huge Thursday night clash against first-place Samford inside McKenzie Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU/ESPN+.

Thursday's game promotion features a special Academic Night halftime presentation in addition to a student-section WHITE OUT with students encouraged to wear white.
Chattanooga (12-7, 4-2 SoCon) has won its last three games including consecutive come-from-behind wins starting with last Wednesday's 83-81 overtime home win over Wofford and concluding with Saturday's 75-71 triumph over Furman in Greenville. The Mocs erased early deficits in each of the last two wins, eliminating a 20-point (31-11, 1st 10:42) hole to Wofford and 16-point (22-6, 1st 9:14) margin at Furman.
Defending regular season and tournament champion Samford (15-4, 5-1 SoCon) comes into Thursday's contest tied with UNCG atop the current league standings despite seeing its 28-game home winning streak snapped to ETSU (L, 60-65) on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't lost consecutive SoCon regular season games since road losses to Wofford and Furman back on January 25 and January 28, 2023.
