CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Mocs return to McKenzie Arena on Sunday, December 7 to take on Bellarmine, for their first home game in 15 days. It's the first of three home games for Chattanooga in the month of December.

The The Mocs dropped a non-conference match on the road a year ago. Two late 3-pointers from Erin Toller for Bellarmine, with the latter being at the buzzer, gave the home side the win.
Gianna Corbitt notched her first career double-double in the loss with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Former Bellarmine Head Coach Chancellor Dugan earned her 500
th career win in this game.
Series History
Chattanooga and Bellarmine have met just one time with Bellarmine leading the series 1-0. This weekend's game marks the first time the two teams have met inside McKenzie Arena.
Close Games All Around
The Mocs have played in four games this season decided by one possession, including their last three games. Chattanooga has a 3-1 record in those games while only one of them was on its home court, a 64-62 win vs. Northern Kentucky.
SoCon Recognition
A Chattanooga player has been named SoCon Player of the Week in each of the last two weeks. Most recently,
Caia Elisaldez won (11/24-11/30 ) while
Gianna Corbitt earned the award the week before that (11/17-23).
Atlantic Sun Finale
This will be the third and final game of the regular season against an Atlantic Sun school. The Mocs are 1-1 in those games, both of which have been on their home court. They fell to Austin Peay on November 20 before defeating Northern Kentucky two days later.
Scouting Chattanooga
The Mocs (4-5) are set to play their first game in eight days, after competing in the CBU Classic in Southern California over Thanksgiving Weekend. Chattanooga defeated Sacramento State 59-57 thanks to a pair of last seconds free throws from Elisaldez before falling to UC Santa Barbara 64-66 the next day on a buzzer-beater lay-up.
Elisaldez at 14.2 points per game and Corbitt at 13.1 points per game lead the Mocs offensively and rank inside the top five in the SoCon in scoring. As a team, Chattanooga is averaging 61.8 points per game. In their last game, the Mocs made 24 shots from the field, the most against a Division I opponent this season.
Scouting Bellarmine
Bellarmine (2-8) has taken on a difficult non-conference schedule in Head Coach Monique Reid's first season at the realm. The Knights have played three power-four teams so far in Ohio State, then-No. 23 Louisville, and Illinois, losing all three games by 49 points or more. They play at Arizona and at Notre Dame in their next two games after playing Chattanooga.
The Knights' two wins have come against Spalding, a Division III school, and the road at Wright State in overtime. According to Bellarmine's game notes, it has struggled with injuries this season, as it was limited to eight active players in their last five games. As a team, Bellarmine is averaging 54.7 points per game while allowing 75.8 points per game.
Triniti Ralston, a junior guard who is one of two players to have started all 10 games for Bellarmine, is the No. 1 player on the scouting report for Chattanooga, as she leads the team with 12.7 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. She has two double-doubles to her name this season, including 22 points and 15 rebounds in the win at Wright State.
