CLEVELAND, Tenn. ---
Sarah Unterholzner claimed the women's 400 meter hurdles title and
Lesley Boyd was the top collegiate finisher in the women's 1500 meter run in record fashion on the final day of the Lee Invitational in Cleveland, Tenn.

"This group of people worked hard and fought for every position and earned valuable lessons and we can wait to see continued progress from the experiences gained," assistant coach
Patrick Gildea said.

Unterholzner finished more than a second ahead of her nearest competitor, running the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 1:05.43 in the first heat.
Adelaide McKeown was fourth in her heat, finishing 10
th overall.

"Sarah's having a strong start to her senior season," Gildea said. "After winning the hurdles, she led off the 4x400 meter relay."

Lesley Boyd and
Maddie Wheatcroft went 1-2 in the women's 1500 meter run with
Leah Boyd fifth and Lexi Foley 10
th overall. Boyd was the top collegiate finisher with a Lee Invitational record breaking time of 4:30.94, but she was behind former Moc, running unattached, Nicole Buehrle.

"The women's 1500m capped the day with alum Nicole Buerhle winning and
Lesley Boyd closing behind, both going under the previous invitational record," Gildea said. "Maddie [Wheatcroft] and Leah [Boyd] put themselves in a position and competed and know they'll come back for more."

Wheatcroft was third overall with a time of 4:36.06 and
Leah Boyd placed fifth at 4:45.35. Lexi Foley was 10
th for the Mocs with a time of 4:50.41 and
Audrey Wade was 13
th at 4:53.48.

Stella Henry placed second in the women's long jump hitting a personal best 5.70 meters (18' 8.5") and
Ava McGue in sixth, also jumped a personal best at 5.31 meters (17' 5.25").

McGue placed fifth in the high jump at 1.45 meters (4-09.00) and teammate
Norah Haney was two spots behind her with a personal best jump of 1.40 meters (4-07.00).

Ryleigh Simmons continues her strong showing with a third place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.30.
EV McGowan also grabbed a third place finish. She ran the 3000 meter Steeplechase in a time of 12:19.63.

Jack Martin led the men with a personal best time of 14:41.43 in the men's 5000 meter run.
Aaron Isbell covered the distance in a time of 15:23.53 followed by
Derek Mitchell at 15:28.47.

"The pace was hot from the gun," Gildea said.
Â
The women's 5000 meter heats were rescheduled which seemed to benefit the Mocs.
Â
"Ellie [von Herrman ] ran a gusty race up front and Lola [Baker] remained steady as usual. Aubrey's [Park] worked through a minor foot issue but she ran tough. Anna [Roberson] and Kennedy [Reynolds] benefitted from having each other to work with and it showed in their debut at the distance.

Riley Hanson was the Mocs top finisher in the 1500 meter run with a PR time of 4:00.73.
Ellie von Herrmann led the Mocs women in the 5000 meter run at 18:32.64. The women's 4x400 meter relay team of Unterholzner,
Norah Haney,
Adelaide McKeown and
Ava McGue finished third with a time of 4:12.03.

Several members of the Mocs track and field team will head to the Raleigh Relays while the remaining will run at Emory.
