Scouting Chattanooga
The Mocs will go for their 10th win in a row on Friday night against Mercer. Caia Elisaldez, coming off a 22-point performance at Western Carolina, and Gianna Corbitt, who has secured double-digit rebound numbers in all five SoCon games are the top two players for Chattanooga statistically. Elisaldez averages 14.6 points per game (3rd in SoCon) and five assists per game (1st in SoCon) while Corbitt scores 13.5 points per game (6th in SoCon) and accounts for 8.2 rebounds per game (2nd in SoCon).

Starting in her second game in a row, Izzy McPherson had a strong game for the Mocs at Western Carolina. The redshirt-freshman scored 13 points with three made triples. Her final 3-pointer of the day came as the shot clock expired late in the game to put a dagger into a potential Catamount comeback. She also contributed five rebounds and a career-high four assists in the win.

This is over 12 points better than the next best defensive team in league play, which is Furman at 56 points allowed per game. Also in SoCon games, Chattanooga is first in rebounds per game at 44.6. Offensively, the Mocs are among the best in the league in field goal percentage at 41.5% (1st in SoCon) and 3-point percentage at 31.8% (3rd in SoCon).
