Quotable
"They have created an atmosphere that is a tough place to wrestle. They are tough top-to-bottom in their lineup. We must show up with the right mindset, pressure from the first whistle, get to our ties, and own position on the mat." – Coach Kyle Ruschell on heading into the weekend

"It's not like our guys don't know what's on the line. We have continued to tell the guys that we have big team goals and this weekend is just another opportunity to go out and wrestle hard. If we do that the rest takes care of itself." – Ruschell on what's at stake

Breakdown
  • Series Record: 4-1. Check out full history at the link above.
  • The last two meetings have come down to the last match in 2-point wins for the home team. In 2024 in Louisville, the Mocs led 16-6 through 174 before a decision at 184 and fall at 197 made it 16-15. The Knights captured the match with a Thadd Huff decision at 285.
  • Last year's dual saw another Mocs lead through 174 (14-9) dissolve with back-to-back Bellarmine decisions. However, Vergara came through with a huge 4-2 decision at 285 for the win.
  • A win clinches at least a share of the 18th SoCon Dual Championship in school history. That would extend the program's league record.
  • There are five Mocs looking to cap undefeated seasons in league matchups: Cooper Flynn (5-0), Cavarius Liddie (7-0), Hunter Mason (7-0), Kamdyn Munro (5-0) & Kade Rule (7-0).
  • Top point getters this far (bonus points): Liddie (16), Mason Reiniche (14), Munro (14), Mason (12), Landon Jones (12), Ethan Vergara (12) & Flynn (11).
  • Top plus minus in dual scoring: +31-Mason (42-11), +30-Liddie (46-16), +27-Vergara (42-15), +19-Rule (29-10), +19-Jones (39-20) & +18-Flynn (29-11).
  • Liddie leads the team in overall wins (21) and is tied for the dual lead of 10 with Mason and Vergara.
  • First time since 2014-15 that all 10 weight classes were .500 or better in SoCon duals:
    7-0 (141/157/174/197)
    6-1 (125/133)
    5-2 (184/285)
    4-3 (149/165)
