Cavarius Liddie and the Chattanooga Mocs hit the road for three Southern Conference duals this weekend.

Overview
The Chattanooga Mocs have a long road ahead with a trio of Southern Conference dual matches this weekend. It starts Friday night in Lexington, Va., and shifts to Buies Creek, N.C., on Sunday. It's a key 3-match set for the Mocs who are still in the thick of the SoCon title chase.

  • This weekend's trip is good for frequent traveler miles. There's an 1,140-mile triangle ahead with 400+ between gyms from Maclellan to Cormack at VMI, nearly 250 between Cormack and Carter at Campbell before the close to 480-mile trek home on Sunday evening.

  • Chattanooga has won 22 in a row against VMI & and all five meetings vs Presbyterian. The Mocs have lost the last six against Campbell. Last loss at VMI? Feb. 19, 1996 (13-27). Last win in Buies Creek? Feb. 17, 2018 (27-6).
  • Senior Dayne Dalrymple returns to the roster. The 149 is "coming out of retirement" to work his way back into dual consideration. Junior Billy Meiszner has left the team.
  • 125 Cooper Flynn is sitting on 68 career victories and is looking at topping the 70 mark during the trip. He is one of two ranked Mocs coming in as high as No. 17 (Open Mat). 184 Landon Jones is the other at #32 in the NCAA Coaches Poll.
  • 157 Cavarius Liddie (17-8) leads the team in overall wins with 17 followed by Jones (16-8) and 141 Hunter Mason (14-7).
  • 285 Ethan Vergara (7-3) is the leader in dual wins with seven. The quartet of Mason (6-3) Liddie (6-4), Jones (6-4) and Kamdyn Munro (6-4) are one behind.
