2009 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Moved from defensive end to tight end during spring practice...saw action in all 11 games off the bench.

2008 • REDSHIRT SEASON: Sat out as a redshirt...named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played defensive end and quarterback for Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Ala...threw for 1,576 yards and 19 touchdowns senior year...completed 127-of-241 pass attempts in his first and only year at quarterback...registered 31 tackles and six quarterback sacks as a defensive end junior season...helped Panthers to a 9-2 record and third straight playoff appearance as a senior...voted Huntsville City Schools Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2007...earned all-city and all-region honors...voted permanent team captain...coached at Huntsville by Kevin Weisman...also played basketball and ran track.
