Biography

CHATTANOOGA:  Fifth-year senior who was one of the top receivers on the team the last two years...started his career as a QB but moved to wideout during his freshman season...124 career receptions is 8th all-time at UTC...1,251 career receiving yards...voted one of three team captains for 2009 season...made the Dean’s List during the fall semester.

2009 • SENIOR SEASON:
  Had 250 yards receiving on 29 catches...Caught three passes for 22 yards against Glenville State...four catches for 29 yards against Furman...four catches for 39 yards at PC...five catches for 50 yards and a TD against Wofford...season-long 27-yard catch at Elon...five receptions for 23 yards at Appalachian State...missed The Citadel game with a shoulder injury.


2008 • JUNIOR SEASON:
  Saw action in all 12 games with five starts...led the team with 49 catches...also had a team-high 512 receiving yards...tied for team lead with three receiving TDs...51-yard TD catch against Cumberland was the longest by any Moc in 2008...totaled eight catches for 175 yards against Cumberland...also caught TDs against Elon and Appalachian State...had five rushes for 18 yards...Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the spring.


2007 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:
  Receiver who played in all 11 games and started in six...team leader in receptions with 45...stood second on the squad in receiving yards (466) and third in touchdown catches with three...averaged 10.4 yards per catch...produced seven games with at least three receptions...set career highs with 11 catches for 94 yards at Elon...made nine grabs for 74 yards versus Western Kentucky...collected three balls for 75 yards with a 63-yard touchdown at Jacksonville State...scored on a 59-yard touchdown pass and caught four balls for 90 yards in win over Western Carolina...caught six passes for 58 yards and scored on a two-yard TD toss at Appalachian State...completed 1-of-2 pass attempts, the completion, a 33-yard scoring strike to quarterback Antonio Miller in game at Elon...also ran the ball six times for seven yards and returned one kickoff for 15 yards.


2006 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
  Entered the preseason as a quarterback but was moved to receiver...only catch of the year was for 23 yards against Elon...competed in eight games...also played on special teams...recorded single tackles against Georgia Southern, The Citadel, Appalachian State and Furman.


2005 • REDSHIRT SEASON:
  Worked with the quarterbacks...ran the scout team offenses.


HIGH SCHOOL:
  Quarterback who ran for 684 yards and seven touchdowns on 111 rushing attempts...passed for 1,022 yards and eight touchdowns in just 70 pass attempts...named to the All Over the Mountain Team as a senior...voted Mounties’ Team Most Valuable Player...SVHS went 1-9 in 2004...gained 1,093 career rushing yards and 13 career touchdowns on 171 attempts...also collected 2,025 career passing yards, 16 career touchdown passes and 255 completions...coached at Shades Valley by Marc Rice...also played basketball and baseball.
