ABOUT CHATTANOOGA BASKETBALL
CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs are finally back home after four games and two weeks on the road. The squad gets three straight in the friendly confines of McKenzie Arena over the next 13 days starting Tuesday night with a visit from Hiwassee. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
The Mocs look to regain the form they had before departing Gig City for the last four games. They were averaging 83.3 points per game shooting 46.6 percent (82-176) from the field, 41.1 percent (23-56) from 3pt range after the last matchup in the Roundhouse. Those numbers dropped making 33.6 percent (80-238) overall including 25.5 percent (24-94) from beyond the arc over the last four.
Freshman
Kevin Easley is pacing the Mocs through the first seven contests. His 15.9 scoring average ranks eighth in the Southern Conference. He's also 14th in rebounding (6.1) and ninth in field goal percentage (45.2%). Graduate student
Thomas Smallwood adds 9.7 points and a team-high 8.1 rebounds per game.
The home stand continues Saturday with a visit from Tennessee Tech. VMI comes to town on Sunday, Dec. 9, for the Southern Conference opener. Tickets are available at the link above or by calling (423) 266-MOCS (6627).

GIVING TUESDAY
The Mocs Club is participating in #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The athletics fund-raising arm is beginning its "Drive for 25" campaign on #GivingTuesday. The campaign aims to raise $25,000 in scholarship funds for UTC student-athletes to which an anonymous donor has generously agreed to match.
Created in 2012, Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely-recognized Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, which includes holiday and end-of-year giving.
There is also a "Drive for 25" raffle. For each gift at the below giving levels, donors will automatically be entered into drawing for the Mocs Club Raffle:
- $250 and above donors: Official UTC gear (2 winners)
