The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga athletics department is holding a Ball & Brawl event at McKenzie Arena on Saturday, Oct. 26. The men's basketball team opens the afternoon with an exhibition game against Covenant College at 2:00 p.m. (E.D.T.). That is followed by the wrestling Blue-Gold Match at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The men's basketball game is a ticketed event, but admission is free to the wrestling portion of the afternoon. Wrestling fans are encouraged to
click here and purchase a ticket to enjoy the entire basketball game, but free admission for wrestling doesn't being until after halftime.
There are 11 individual matches on the schedule for the Blue-Gold scrimmage. The entire lineup is listed below. Some of this competition serves as a wrestle-off to determine starters for the upcoming regular season.

Opening Day at Miller Park
The Mocs are less than a week away from the start of the 2019-20 regular season. UTC opens in a unique setting with a tri-dual at Miller Park in Downtown Chattanooga on Friday, Nov. 1. Presbyterian and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville join the Mocs for three matches that start at 1:30 p.m. This is a free event and fans are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to enjoy the action. The Mocs host Presbyterian and 3:30 p.m. and SIUE at 5:30 p.m.

Preseason All-SoCon
ICYMI – the Mocs had
two individuals make the preseason All-SoCon team in senior
Rodney Jones (197) and sophomore
Tanner Smith (149). As a team, Chattanooga was picked to finish third in the league race behind Campbell and Appalachian State.
