Quotable
"There's a couple of things Our administration has done a great job of helping us provide one of the nation's best tournaments at the Division I level. This year, we were going to see an increase of high-level, ranked competitors. It's going to be super exciting for our fans to see those guys compete, and then also to see our guys compete against those types of guys and see where we stack up." –
Coach Kyle Ruschell on what makes this such a premier event nationally
Â
"That first semester was really tough. We saw a lot of changes in our roster, but also just the quality of opponent. I think our guys understand the type of wrestling that we have to have to be successful. I think we saw a little bit of that and started to really turn a corner at the Kent State Open. Hopefully that leads into the Scuffle, but also in where our season's made, which is in our conference. Hopefully it spearheads our trajectory moving forward in the right way." –
Ruschell on New Year, new opportunities
