CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's soccer team made quick work of scoring Sunday and blanked visiting Union 5-0 in the Mocs' final non-conference game of the season.

Transfer Osa Iyare scored her first goal for the Mocs in the ninth minute, knocking home the game winner. It started with a pass from Bailey Gale to Hollie Massey just outside the top left corner of the box. She then passed it to Iyare who was in the middle of the field, just at the top of the box. Iyare gathered the ball in and then blasted the shot in toward the Union keeper and planted it into the top left corner of the box for the goal.

The Mocs would pick up their second goal not much later off the foot of Faith Gober who scored her team-leading third goal in two games to make it 2-0 in the 18^th minute. She took the ball from about 25 yards out and drove toward the right post. She sent her shot from the right side of the six-yard box to the lower left corner, just out of the reach of the Bulldog keeper.

The Mocs third goal touched off Emily Szymanski first, over to Massey in the box who passed it to a charging Chloe Arnold for her first goal of the season. With a Union defending dogging her run, she picked up the pass near the left post and tapped it in on the outside of her right foot into the bottom left corner to make it 3-0 in the 31^st minute.

The Mocs led 3-0 at the half with 14 shots with six on goal compared to Union's two shots with none threatening the net.

Szymanski got in on the scoring with the Mocs' first goal of the second half and her second of the year. She took a pass from Gale, coming down the right side and with a couple of dribbles down the right side, she slotted her shot past the keeper to the middle of the net to make it 4-0 in the 61^st minute.

Maddie Burman scored her first goal from the left side. Gober picked up a pass just inside the top of the box and, avoiding a pervasive effort by Union to get the ball away, she passed to a wide-open Burman on the left who split the defense and knocked it into the net on the far post.

Chattanooga outshot Union 35-5 and had a 14-3 shots on goal advantage. Ashton Shields had three saves on the day and improved to 2-2-1 with her second shutout.

Iyare and Gober led the Mocs with six shots apiece. Iyare had four on goal to Gober's two. Szymanski had five while Burman and AK Anderson each added three. UTC had 12 corner kicks in the game with the Bulldogs getting just one.
