CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga soccer team placed four players on the Southern Conference postseason teams, the league office announced today.<br />

Senior
Mackenzie Smith was named to the All-Conference first team while
Clarissa Salinas and
Kelly Tuerff earned a spot on the second team. Freshman
Fabia Reinschmidt was selected to the All-Freshman Team.<br />
 <br />
Smith is a two-time All-Conference First Team member and was named to the league's All-Freshman Team in 2019. She is currently tied (
Maggie Shaw, 2022) for most games played at UTC with 85 and second for most starts with 79. She ranks fourth for shots attempted, eighth for assists and 10<sup>th</sup> for points and goals scored.<br />

Smith ranks third on the team in scoring with 10 points and goals scored with four. She has a team-best 52 shots and scored the game winning goal at The Citadel.<br />
 <br />
Salinas has started all 17 games for Chattanooga and is fourth on the team in scoring with nine points and goals with three. Her three assists this season is tied for second for UTC. She scored the game winning goal at Middle Tennessee. She assisted on the game winner at North Alabama and against Wofford.<br />
 <br />
Kelly Tuerff plays the center back on the Mocs defense that allowed 20 goals this season and held opponents to 11.5 shots per game. She recorded a team save at The Citadel, knocking a shot away before it could cross into the goal.<br />
 <br />
Fabia Reinschmidt, named a "Freshman to Watch" by Top Drawer Soccer, scored the Mocs first goal at The Citadel two seconds before the halftime buzzer sounded. She played in and started all 17 games this season.<br />
 <br />
Chattanooga opens play in the 2023 Southern Conference Championship Friday night against third-seeded Samford at ETSU's Taylor-Summers Stadium. The game is set to kick off at 7:00 p.m. Follow all the action online at GoMocs.com.<br />
