ABOUT CHATTANOOGA (4-6, 0-0 SoCon)
The Mocs enter their game at Bellarmine riding a three-game losing skid but looking to bounce back this Thursday. Despite being banged up with numerous injuries, the Mocs still have a solid core that includes Sigrun Olafsdottir, Karsen Murphy and Gianna Corbitt. UTC's defense has been its strong suit, with the Mocs currently leading the SoCon in three-point defense (.257) while ranking third in scoring defense (57.1) on the year. With starting point guard Caia Elisaldez likely being out for the Mocs, expect to see another new starting five for UTC, something that's become common for Chattanooga to open the year. The team has already sent out five different starting lineups across the opening 10 games of the season, which is more than the Mocs sent out during the 2023-24 and 2022-23 seasons combined.

ABOUT BELLARMINE (8-2, 0-0 ASUN)
The Knights have had a strong start to their 2024-25 campaign, having opened the season 8-2 overall. Bellarmine is actively riding a five-game win streak, and their only two losses on the season came in a two-point loss to Detroit Mercy followed by an 11-point loss at Purdue. Often running a small, speedy lineup, the Knights have averaged 77.9 points/game on the year while relying heavily on their three-point offense to do the heavy lifting. Bellarmine is currently shooting .359 as a team from three-point range while averaging 8.0 three-pointers made/game. Hayley Harrison (16.6 points/game) and Hope Sivori (13.6 points/game) will be the main two players to watch for Bellarmine.

THE LAST TIME THEY MET
Thursday's game marks the very-first time that Chattanooga and Bellarmine will face off against one another. The Knights are one of three opponents for UTC that the Mocs have or will be playing for the first time ever during the 2024-25 season. The first came on November 29, when the Mocs took on Penn University for the first time at the FGCU Homewood Suites Tournament in Fort Myers. Bellarmine makes up the second. The third, Division II foe Salem University, is set to come to the Roundhouse on December 21 in what will be Chattanooga's non-conference finale.

Karsen Murphy's .420 three-point percentage actively leads the SoCon. She is averaging 2.1 three-pointers made/game for the Mocs this year.
• The Mocs actively lead the SoCon in three-point percentage defense (.257) this year, ranking 50th in the entire NCAA in the stat. UTC also sits third in the league in scoring defense (57.1), which slots the Mocs in 64th in the nation.
