Match Week: Blue-Gold Challenge Series Was Perfect Season Start

The Chattanooga Mocs put their new wrestling room on display for a well-attended Blue-Gold Challenge Series over the weekend kick-starting the 2025-26 campaign.

The Chattanooga Mocs wrestling team was on display last weekend in the Blue-Gold Challenge Series. The lineup began to take shape from top to bottom with a series of preliminary matchups leading up to a competitive set of finals. The Mocs early season depth chart is set with the opening matches on the horizon this coming Sunday.

The Breakdown  
Week One
The Mocs take center mat Sunday, Nov. 2, hosting a quad meet. Campbellsville, Huntingdon and King come to town as the squad looks to get the first competitive weekend going and a wide range of competitors a start prior to the following Sunday's visit from Ohio State in McKenzie Arena.
 
This week's venue is Maclellan Gym with the main arena hosting the Mocs matches and the other matchups happening in the wrestling room. The schedule:
 
11 a.m.: Chattanooga vs. Campbellsville | Huntingdon vs. King
12:30 p.m.: Chattanooga vs. Huntingdon | Campbellsville vs. King
2 p.m.: Chattanooga vs King | Campbellsville vs. Huntingdon

Season ticket are available on GoMocs.com here. The season plan includes every match in Maclellan Gym as well as the Ohio State dual and priority to purchase All-Session Passes for the Southern Scuffle. The premier option is chairback reserved in Maclellan Gym, mat-side for the Buckeyes battle and padded reserved for the Southern Scuffle. That package is $150 per ticket including fees.
