Soccer on the Road to ETSU for Sunday Match

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team hits the road to take on East Tennessee State in Southern Conference action Sunday afternoon in Johnson City. The Bucs are tied for first in the conference standings.

CHATTANOOGA vs. EAST TENNESSEE STATE
The Mocs lead the series 10-6-4, first meeting in 1997 as SoCon foes. In league play, the Mocs are 9-6-4 and a 2003 win over the Bucs in the SoCon Tournament. On the road, UTC is 4-5-1 against ETSU.
 
LAST TIME THEY MET
Chattanooga won 2-0 last year in Chattanooga with goals from Caroline Richvalsky and Zoey Mize. The pair assisted each other on their goals.
 
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA (8-3-2, 2-1-1 SoCon)
The Mocs picked up their second SoCon win with a 4-2 victory against Mercer and remain undefeated at home this season (7-0). UTC is tied for sixth on its all-time wins list. The Mocs lead the SoCon with 29 goals, sixth most in program history. Caroline Richvalsky leads the Mocs with 20 points on eight goals and four assists. She is second in the league in points and goals. Paige Thomas is tied for fifth in the league with seven goals and two assists for 16 points, and has three game winning goals. Caroline Ekern took sole possession of first place for wins at UTC getting her 31st in the Mocs 4-2 win over Mercer at Finley Stadium Thursday night.
 
ABOUT EAST TENNESSEE STATE (8-2-3, 3-0-1 SoCon)
The Bucs are tied for the lead in the SoCon standings and have 19 goals on the season while allowing 10. Reagan Fitzgerald leads the conference with 21 points on nine goals and three assists and six game winning goals. Jada Cooper has nine points on three goals and three assists. Addison Yelton has played 12 games in goal with a 0.68 goals-against average and a 72.4 save percentage. She has six clean sheets and seven of the Bucs wins.
