RECAP: Wrestlers Place 7 at West Point

Hunter Mason

Hunter Mason led a strong Chattanooga Mocs workday at the Black Knight Invite Sunday afternoon at West Point.

First Look
The Chattanooga Mocs wrestling team placed seven on the podium at the Black Knight Invite on post at the United States Military Academy. The squad represented nine weight classes so the results were eye-popping against a solid tournament field. Hunter Mason had the top finish ending up third at 141.

First Word
"We saw our guys trying the things what we're working on in practice. It takes time. There are several things we can get better at…hand fighting and match situations really stick out. It's nice that we have a good amount of time to really break this stuff down before our next competition." – Coach Kyle Ruschell
