• SoCon All-Conference Second Team.
• Played and started all 18 games as a defender.
• Played 15 complete games including all 110 minutes of double-OT game against UNCG in SoCon Tournament.
2021 Sophomore
Started all 20 games at defender ... took one shot ... helped the team to seven shutouts, including four in Southern Conference play.
2020 (2021 Spring) Sophomore
Started all 11 games at defender...helped the Mocs to a third place finish in the Southern Conference standings...member of a defense that allowed just five goals and recorded six shutouts...averaged a 0.48 goals-against average - best in school history.
2019 Freshman
Played in 11 matches and made four starts ... took a shot at Western Carolina ... helped the Mocs to a school-record nine shutouts, fewest goals allowed and goals against average.
High School
Helped lead the Spartans to two district titles ... two-time All-State selection ... three-time District MVP ... two-time All-Region ... four-time All-District ...prepXtra First Team ... club team, FC Alliance, was the 2015 Division I state finalist and the 2016 State Champions. She joined ECNL in 2017 ... member of the Outdoor Club.
Personal
Avery was born in Knoxville, Tenn., on January 8. She is the daughter of Kevin and Stephanie Catlett. Her father played football at Carson-Newman and was an all-conference selection his junior year. Her older brother Conner attends Miami University in Ohio. She is a Psychology major.
