CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ? Chattanooga's freshman keeper Milla Junni (Hyvenkaa, Finland) grabbed 13 saves Thursday night, but it wasn't enough as the UNC Greensboro Spartans defeated the Lady Mocs 4-1 in Southern Conference action at the North River Soccer Complex.

The Spartans (6-3-0, 3-0-0) scored quickly, grabbing a 1-0 lead at the 2:52 mark of the game. In a two-on-one attack, Kelly Attayek dished the ball to Kristen Player in the middle of the box for the first score of the game.

The Lady Mocs (0-6-2, 0-1-1) knotted the match at 1-1 in the 20^th minute on freshman Sara Francescon's team-high third goal of the season at the 19:33 mark. Chattanooga's defense held for the remainder of the half with Junni making six saves in the first half and the two teams went into intermission locked at one apiece.

The second half would gradually belong to the Spartans who tallied three goals in the period. In the 60^th minute, Jenn Partenheimer took a shot off a corner kick that rebounded off Junni and back to her and she found the back of the net with the game winner.

Player netted her second goal of the match off another assist from Attayek at the 64:54 mark spreading the lead to 3-1. In the 79^th minute after a foul by Chattanooga, Lauren Lopez took a free kick from 25 yards out on the left and looped the ball over the line of defenders and past Junni for the score and a 4-1 final score.

Chattanooga will travel to Elon for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Phoenix. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
