CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team netted a 1-0 win over Wofford Sunday afternoon at the UTC Sports Complex in Southern Conference action. The Mocs improve to 5-8-2 overall and 2-3-1 in league play while the Terriers fall to 3-11 on the year and 1-4 against the SoCon.

Grace Klippenstein eluded her defender and fired a shot into the upper right corner of the net early in the second half to put the Mocs up 1-0 in the 52
nd minute. That would turn out to be the lone goal of the match and Klippenstein's first game winner this season.

Chattanooga outshot Wofford 19-9 and held an 11-0 margin at halftime.
Mackenzie Smith fired off a team-high seven shots while Klippenstein,
Samantha Shaw and
Kendra Mueller each had two. Keeper
Abbey Saddler made four saves in the match.

Wofford's Ashely Grant had three shots for the Terriers with one on goal and keeper Caroline Doss made four saves. Each team took three corner kicks with Wofford getting all three chances in the second half.

Chattanooga will close out the remainder of the season on the road over the next two weeks. The Mocs will travel to Johnson City, Tenn., on Friday to take on ETSU followed by a Sunday afternoon match at Western Carolina.
