3) History
45th meeting in the series. Mocs lead it 24-19-1 with an 8-11-1 mark in Johnson City. The two sides are level in Southern Conference matchups at 15 apiece. Chattanooga has won the last two and four of five since ETSU reinstated football and rejoined the SoCon in 2016.

4) Battle of the Backs
Chattanooga junior Ailym Ford and Bucs senior Jacob Saylors are a key matchup Saturday. They have been throughout their careers with the running game featuring heavily into both teams' game plans. The duos career numbers vs. the opposition defense are impactful…

Ford: 2G, 45 carries, 295 yards, 3 TD, 1 rec., 9 yards. All-Purpose Yards: 304
Saylors: 3G, 28 carries, 211 yards, 1 TD, 7 rec., 46 yards, 1 KOR, 18 yards. All-Purpose Yards: 275

Nearly half of the Mocs points scored in the last two wins came from Ford (18 of 37). The other 19? 12 from Tyrell Price (rushing TDs) and seven from kickers (4 by Victor Ulmo & 3 by Aaron Sears) on six PATs and a field goal.

5) 3 Notes to Know
- The defensive efforts from the Mocs keyed the two wins. Both squads have been stingy on points with the cumulative score in three Rail Rivalry games being just 51-46 in favor of the good guys. The last visit to Johnson City saw nine tackles for loss with four sacks. The total in the last three meetings? 23 TFL including 11 sacks.
- Piggy backing on the above note…senior defensive tackle Devonnsha Maxwell has 7.5 career sacks against the Bucs in three games including a school-record five a year ago. That 7.5 is 22.7 percent of his 33 total.
- Rank second in the SoCon and 19th in the country in sacks (6) & second in TFLs (17) allowed. Almost all the sacks (5) and nearly half the TFLs (8) came at Illinois.
