TEAM
- This was the 43rd meeting between Chattanooga and Samford.
- The all-time series now stands at 31-12 in favor of the Mocs.
- UTC's record moves to 12-7 when playing the Bulldogs in Birmingham.
- The Mocs had won their last four meetings with Samford dating back to a Jan. 12, 2023 loss (SAM won 58-53).
- UTC had also won each of its last three trips to Birmingham against the Bulldogs.
- Chattanooga's last road loss to Samford came back on Jan. 23, 2020 (SAM won 60-46).
- Coach Schirmer went with the following starting five: Elisaldez, Olafsdottir, Murphy, Corbitt, Anya.
- The Mocs are now 9-7 this season when playing that starting lineup.
- Chattanooga currently holds the longest active streak in the entire NCAA when it comes to consecutive games with a made three-pointer.
- Dating back to December 1999, UTC has made a three-pointer in 800 straight games.
- Chattanooga was out-shot 43 percent (21-for-49) compared to UTC's 32 percent (17-for-53).
- The Mocs finished with more turnovers, logging 16 compared to Samford's 15.
- From this, the Bulldogs were able to score 22 points off turnovers compared to Chattanooga's 11.
- The Mocs out-rebounded the Bulldogs 38-27.
- This included the Mocs having 13 offensive rebounds while the Bulldogs only had five.
- Because of their work on the offensive glass, UTC had 15 second chance points in the game. Samford only had two.
- UTC finished with zero points off the bench.
- This is the second time this season the Mocs had no points off the bench, the other coming against Mercer back on Jan. 18.
- Samford out-scored Chattanooga in the paint, 22-20.

Sigrun Olafsdottir, Sr., G/F
- Made her 141st career start (all with the Mocs).
- Played in her 144th career game (all with the Mocs).
- Holds the program record for most games played in program history (144 and counting).
- Also holds the program record for most career starts (141 and counting).
- Olafsdottir is also eight appearances away from tying David Jean-Baptiste and AJ Caldwell for the most games played by a men's OR women's basketball player in UTC history (152).
- With her at 186 career steals she now sits in sole possession of ninth place on program's all-time steals list.
- Five more and she would tie Kim Horsey (1980-84) for eighth with 191.
- Scored 11 points for the Mocs on a 4-for-10 (40 percent) shooting clip.
- This included going 3-for-6 (50 percent) from three-point range.
- Has now been a double-digit scorer 10 times this season. 30 times in her career.
- Has made multiple three-pointers in a total of 13 games this season for the Mocs.
- Has made 3+ three-pointers in a total of five games this season.
- Also brought down six rebounds in the loss.
- This now marks the 19th time that she's had 4+ rebounds in a game this year.
- Finshed tied for the team-high in steals with two.
- Has now led the Mocs in steals 16 times this season.
- Added two assists to her stat line as well.

Caia Elisaldez, So., G
- Made her 22nd start of the season, 25th of her career.
- Appeared in her 23rd game of the season, 56th of her career.
- Led UTC in scoring after dropping 15 points.
- Did this on a 7-for-15 (46.7 percent) shooting clip from the floor.
- This marks her 11th time leading the team in scoring this season.
- It's also her seventh-straight game leading the Mocs in scoring.
- She has been a double-digit scorer 17 times this season. 21 times in her career.
- Logged two rebounds and two assists in the loss as well.
- Has recorded multiple assists in every game she's appeared in this season.
- Played in all 40 minutes of the game, her fourth time doing so in her career, all of which have come this season.
Frode Flos van der Schans, RSo., F/C
- Checked into her 22nd game of the season. 32nd of her career.
- Finished with one rebound.
- Was one of two UTC players to finish with a positive plus/minus in the game (+1).
Ava Card, Fr., G/F
- Appeared in her 23rd game of her rookie campaign.
- Recorded one rebound for the Mocs.
Gianna Corbitt, Fr., F
- Made her 22nd career start for the Mocs.
- Appeared in her 24th game of the season.
- Corbitt currently has more double-doubles this season (5) than the rest of the SoCon's freshman combined (2).
- Notched 14 points for the Mocs, her 12th double-digit scoring effort of her career.
- Also tied for a team-high nine rebounds in the contest, nearly finishing with a double-double.
- Has now led the team in rebounding 16 times this season.
- Ended the night 4-for-11 (36.4 percent) from the floor and 5-for-6 (83.3 percent) from the free throw line,
- Also had one assist, one block and one steal in the loss.

- Made her 19th start for the Mocs (77th start of her career).
- Appeared in her 129th career game (24th as a Moc).
- Tallied four points and six rebounds for the Mocs.
- Finished a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe.
- Four of those boards were offensive rebounds.
- Also led the Mocs with a team-high three assists.
- This marks her second time leading the team in assists this season.
- Swiped away a pair of steals in the loss as well.
- Has now recorded multiple steals in a total of eight games this season.

Karsen Murphy, Sr., F/C
- Made her 66th career start (all with the Mocs).
- Played in her 127th career game (115th as a Moc).
- Scored six points for UTC.
- Tied for the team-high in rebounding after going for nine.
- Has led the Mocs in rebounding three times this year.
- Also led UTC in blocks after logging a season-high of three.
- This is her 10th time leading the team in blocks this season.
- Logged an assist and a steal in the game as well.
- Played in all 40 minutes of the game, her third time doing so in her career, all of which have come this season.
